Welcome to the website of Nineteen, a jazz ensemble
from San Jose, California. Our repertoire is an eclectic brew
of creative new work by current-day composers and arrangers,
including members of our own band, and music of jazz icons
from Duke Ellington to Maria Schneider.
Our concert series often include notable guest artists. Over
the past several years we have been privileged to perform
with Dave Liebman, Jerry Bergonzi, Mads Tolling, Ernie Watts,
Don Menza, Dave Weckl, Steve Smith, Wayne Bergeron, Carl
Saunders, Wayne Wallace, Brian Bromberg, Jeff Lorber, Russell
Ferrante, Stephanie Nakasian, and many other inspiring musicians.
